My good friend and awesome driver MAD Mike Whiddett has done it again. Last week Mad Mike dropped an awesome video together with Redbull while he we racing/drifting in the mountains of New Zealand. Twin Monkey Business!

I asume that most of you guys have at some point seen my team Team DriftMonkey. And most of you may know that its me that own and manage the team. Since I started the team I have always had an D1GP spec S15 in it. Even though I dont drive much my self anymore, the car has been a part of the team with different guest drivers. Late last year I sold that car. It was about time. It has been a part of the team since 2009 and it was time for something new. So I was thinking what can I do to top this amazing S15? Well I desided to build 2 Supras. Yess. Not only 1, but 2 cars. And I desided to call them “The Twin Monkeys”!

So, how far has the concept come? Well 1 Supra is just about to be ready, while the other one is a few weeks behind. The plan is to have them both ready early June. I have just posted a few pics here, but more will come. Engine spec, details etc.. Stay tuned and get the latest details through my team page TEAM DRIFTMONKEY!

The Monkey Life website started as a lifestyle website for everything I do in the daily life. People started asking for pics, updates and details. Many of you wanted to see what was going on behind the scene of the team, and clothing line. So I started the webside. After a while the demand for a page on facebook came up. And “The Monkey Life” page was alive.

So let me explain this very simple.

- The page is a daily updated page with awesome moments from all over the world. Cars and happenings from everywhere in the world. We all live “The Monkey Life” sometimes.

- The Website is more a daily blog with updates from the life behind the team, clothes and concept. News, links, travels, deeper articles and more. Here you get to know me and the concept more. Experience what I do for a living.

The page is updated several times pr day.

The website is growing, and has more than 1000 readers daily.

The DriftMonkey concept is so much more than just selling products and making money. Its just as much about inspiring others to not give up on their dreams. That “NEVER GIVE UP” on your dreams and, keep focus on the hard work.

This is a picture from some weeks back when I sponsored some 12 year old kids on a local school in the town that I grew up. It was a local entrepreneur competition and DriftMonkey Clothing were one of the price givers. I put together some nice Monkey accessories for 1-2-3rd place.

I have designed together with Motivated Eyewear a super cool DriftMonkey edition sunglass that gives you not only this cool Monkey looks. But it also gives you the quality and unique design that you have been looking for all your life. The signature series will be available in early June 2013. Stay tuned for further info.

2 Years Has Gone!

Today it’s 2 years since the earthquake and tsunami destroyed the lives of thousands of people in northern Japan. I still remember the day I opened up the many online newspapers, and the pics and vids started rolling in. As a huge fan of the japanese car culture and lifestyle, I was devastated of the massiv destruction the tsunami made and how it affected so many people. This is something that always will be in my memories.

The guy behind Hashiriya took this photos of an R32 in Ishinomaki last year.
